Description
Philippe Beraud works as “Chief Technology & Security Advisor” in the Office of CTO of Microsoft France.
As a technical, security, and ethics advisor, Philippe Beraud help leading private and public organizations adapting their strategies and policies to support their (new) business in order to seize opportunities with digital transformation and responsible innovation in the new era of AI.
He is also the Responsible AI governance lead for Microsoft France, and ensures compliance with Microsoft's global approach to Responsible AI, as defined by the Office of Responsible AI (ORA). He coordinates with ORA, promotes the culture change and drives the adoption of the internal Responsible AI Standard (RAIS), sensitive uses, and other ORA processes within Microsoft France, notably for customer- and partner-facing AI projects involving Microsoft France. He also co-leads the Responsible AI working group of the Think & Do tank Impact AI.
He regularly intervenes and speaks for Microsoft France as a principal architect and a recognized technical subject matter expert on subjects that pertain to security, privacy, compliance, governance, responsible AI, cloud architecture patterns, (decentralized) digital identities, information protection, etc.
