Description
Michael is currently the Managing Director of Scale AI, leading corporate strategy and accelerating AI applications across industries. Michael served as the fourth Chief Technology Officer of the United States at the White House and Under Secretary of Defense at the Pentagon. Under his leadership, the White House reoriented U.S. national technology policy towards an explicit primary focus on ensuring continued American leadership in emerging technologies. Michael was unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate and is the youngest Under Secretary of Defense in history.
